Who owns JERUSALEM?

Those of us who have even a smidgen of Biblical knowledge know that any peace plan that forces Israel to give even one acre over to the Arabs (Palestinians, as they have come to be known of since 947) is not a road map to peace, but a road map to mass upheaval.

If only the unbelieving world could understand that God deeded everything from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates to Abraham; plus the Jews bought land with hard money and received deeds ) land, which were recorded in God’s Word.

The first parcel of land given documentation in the Bible is found in Genesis 23, where we find that Abraham bought (from the Canaanites) the parcel of ground that included the Cave of  Machpelah.

Approximately 100 years later, a second parcel is recorded in the Bible. Jacob buys a parcel of ground which is recorded in Genesis 33, and we know that it was duly recorded as evidenced by the fact that it was this parcel that became the inheritance of Joshua about 300 years later.

The third piece of ground finding record in scripture is found about 400 years after that. This parcel of land is bought by David from the Canaanite, King Araunah, as found in II Samuel 24. This land . the land that becomes the building site for Solomon’s Temple, on which today stands the Muslim Shrine, the Dome of the Rock.

So, the most hotly contested pieces of real estate in the Middle East really shouldn’t be contested at all - Hebron, bought by Abraham; Nablus, bought by Jacob; and the Temple mount, bought by King David.

But, since our God is sovereign and will one day set everything straight, we know that what mortal men will never do, our great God and Savior will do when He returns. Surely, as we see the wickedness of the world increasing exponentially, we can confidently look for our upward trumpet call and then the world will plunge into the horrors of the Tribulation. ‘

As the East coast recently fell into black-out, did you stop to think that this is just a peek through the keyhole as to what is coming? Maranatha (The Lord cometh)!

What must I DO to be Saved?

NOTHING

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and tho’. shalt be saved. Acts 16:31.

  As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that be­lieve on His name. John 1:12.

 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men. whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 •

 Thrdough this man is preached unto. you the. Forgiveness of sins; and by Him all that believe are Justified  from all things, from which ye could not be Justified. by the law of Moses. Acts 13:38,39.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His merCt He saved us. Titus 3:5.

He that believeth on Him is not condemned. John 3:18.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me hath everlasting life. John 8:47.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life. John 3:36.

What I DO to be Lost?

NOTHING

If ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24.

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the people that forget God. Psalm 9: 11.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, let I fear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Psalm 50:22.

He that believeth not the Son shall not see 1 e but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36.

He that believeth not is condemned already be­cause he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18.

How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? Heb. 2:3.

Believing CHRIST died, that’s HISTORY.

Believing CHRIST for YOU and ROSE again that’s SALVATION.

The Way of the World

War and violence, sin and corruption plague the world. Drive-by-shootings, murders, rapes and every type of sense­less crime fills daily newscasts.

Laws for mandatory jail-time only fill new prisons as soon as the doors swing open. Defiant offenders of all ages show no remorse. Lawlessness is dethroning peace and order.

Many wonder how people can be so cruel. Is there a defect ingrained in modern society? While experts offer widely differing opinions for the woes of today, the Bible gives a clear and concise explanation.

The fall of the World

    Contrary to popular belief, man is not inherently good. Man is, rather, inherent­ly bad. He has a fallen, corrupt and sinful nature. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

This fallen or sinful nature is the direct result of man’s rebellion against God. Each person born into this world comes fully equipped with a sinful nature.

The most precious new-born howls over the slightest provocation. The best of childhood friends suddenly fight like cats and dogs. The most responsible young person will lie or cheat. Indeed, all have a sinful nature and sooner or later will avail themselves of it.

Because the sin nature continues to molest modern man’s every step, it is easy to see why society is corrupt.

The Hope of the World

All is not hopeless though, for God Himself will soon openly intervene in the affairs of this world. His rule on earth will be one of perfect justice for all. This occurs when Christ returns from heaven and takes His rightful place as Lord of lords, and King of kings.

As for today, God has already pro­vided for the sinner. “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (I Timothy 1: 15). The death of Christ on the cross and the blood that He shed bridges the gap between sinful mankind and a Holy God. The sacrifice on the cross was the complete settlement for sin.

Though once banished from God because of the sin nature, all may now freely come to God through Christ. Jesus said, “I AM THE WAY, the Truth, and the Life: no one comes to the Father, except through Me” (John 14:6).

No Other Way

God has no other way for us to enter heaven but through the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the great bridge that spans the vast river of mankind’s sin.

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4: 12).

Step forward in faith and cross over God’s bridge. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 16:31), as there is NO OTHER WAY for you to be saved.

 Believing CHRIST died, that’s HISTORY.
